Halfway through our vacation, we hit critical mass with photos on our cellphones, so we took a few minutes to delete things and free up some space for more Hawaii beach videos. That’s when I noticed that my husband has a major problem with memes, as in he has hundreds of screen grabs.
And, in his words, “Delete the pics, keep the memes.” It was as if he were Peter Clemenza, ordering, “Leave the gun, take the cannoli.”
I was aghast, of course, because hello. Photos are kinda my thing, and it pains me to delete them, even after I’ve moved them to two hard drives and a cloud. But I followed orders, because if I learned anything from “The Godfather” it’s that you don’t question an order of this nature.
When the task was complete, we were left with nearly 300 memes. Some of them were inspirational. A good portion were hilarious. Some hilariously inappropriate. What follows are my favorite 20 of the bunch.
