Yesterday I decided I’d like to take up the sailing lifestyle. This plan is all dependent on my winning the lottery, of course, or somehow coming in contact with the requisite sailing bankroll (O sugar daddy, are you out there?). First there’s the boat itself, then the slip rental, then the upkeep, then paying someone to get me hip to the lingo, then paying someone else to teach me how to maneuver my way around the damn thing without pulling a Goldie Hawn and falling overboard. At this point Husband pointed out it might be in our best interest to just buy a power yacht instead. I respectfully declined because what good is wearing sailing-inspired clothes and accessories if you’re not in a sailboat?
