If you follow a lot of home design accounts on Instagram (and I do), you’ve probably noticed something popping up over and over again in recent months: round mirrors. More particularly: large gold/brass round mirrors.

How to rock a round mirror
Round mirrors can look great in every room. The first time I noticed them, it seemed everyone was placing them above console tables in hallways or entryways, but they’ve slowly been making their mark in bathrooms, living rooms and bedrooms.
The main thing to keep in mind is size. You want that Goldilocks size. You know: not too big, not too small. Just right.
For good measure, make sure your mirror does not extend beyond the width of the furniture beneath it. Optimally, you leave six inches of breathing room on either side to center the round mirror.
And if the mirror looks too small in the space, you’re right. It’s too small. Go big.
