And the countdown continues in my quest to watch and find something inspiring in every single one of Yahoo’s 100 Movies to See Before You Die…
Let’s forget about the fact that this movie doesn’t provide the most accurate representation of the U.S. legal system. It does take place in mostly one room, though, and that’s pretty darn impressive. Now if only I could keep this in mind the next time it’s my turn for napping in public (aka jury duty). At least the jury pool nowadays includes people of all colors and ages and genders, infinitely more exciting than a bunch of middle-aged white men wearing crisp white shirts and ties. Progress! Now that’s inspiring.
This movie is a photographer’s dream! Every scene is perfectly framed. The lighting is exquisite. As if one would expect less from Stanley Kubrick. It was difficult to choose just one still to share here; they’re all fantastic. I eventually settled on this one because I’ve falling in love with these chairs and must declare it to the world.
