Lately I’ve been craving that Midwest fall experience.
If you’re not familiar, let me give it to you in a nutshell: crisp air, crunchy leaves, haunted hayrides and bonfires with hot cider.
I was feeling so nostalgic for these things that it inspired one of my latest designs, Harvest Moon.
But I couldn’t just finish this poster and let it go there. No. I had to go shopping.
Do you catch my vibe? Cozy, magical, slightly mysterious. Rust orange, maroon red and black accents.
You can light a crackly candle, slip on some fuzzy socks, prop yourself up with some soft pillows and curl up under a blanket with a cup of hot cider and “Copycat” on Netflix.
Or you can stain your lips dark and don a witchy scarf as you head out into the chilly fall night to spook yourself out at a haunted forest.
Is it any wonder fall used to be my favorite season when I lived in Kansas?
