Who goes out on St. Patrick’s Day? Show of hands, please.
I can’t even remember the last time I went to a bar on this holiday. It was probably in college, and I’m pretty sure it was a mistake. As a wise friend once told me, “It’s amateur night.”
As in: People are a little tooooo drunk, the bar’s a little too crowded, and green beer is awful.
That’s why I’d rather go to a party at a friend’s house, or better yet, host one at my own house.
