Yay! It’s Freebie Friday, which means I’m sharing this tropical passion free printable with you today.
Sometimes when I’m playing around with graphics for an art print, I have a clear vision of what I want to do.
Then there are all the other times.
Firstly, this printable was inspired by the quote, which I and the rest of the Internet incorrectly thought was by Van Gogh.
The short version: It’s not. Van Gogh quoted a line from Émile Zola’s novel in a letter.
The actual line: “Je préfère crever de passion que de crever d’ennui!”
After clearing that up, I stumbled across a set of tropical graphics I downloaded some time ago but never used. I created a background with some green monstera leaves.
I was almost content with the design, but then I decided to “invert” on a whim.
And I fell in love with the purple leaves. I mean, purple equals passion, amirite?
