Yay! It’s Freebie Friday, which means I’m sharing this winter forest free printable with you today.
Sometimes I see a design I created a few years ago and cringe.
That’s a common thing, though, isn’t it? At least, it’s been my experience as an artist who also happens to be an Enneagram 1.
Do you know your Enneagram type? In case you’re unfamiliar, the Enneagram helps you identify what motivates you, and therefore why you act or feel the way you do in certain situations.
It’s fascinating, and I’ve spent much of the past year digging into it and finding out core things about myself. Like how I say I’m a recovering perfectionist — that’s because I tend to turn toward perfectionism in times of stress.
I talk about these kinds of self-discovery topics in my newsletter sometimes. And also give you more free printables.
Anyway, I came across one of those designs that never felt perfect to me. It’s a free Christmas printable I created years ago.
(You can still download it because I haven’t yet succumbed to my perfectionist urge to delete the entire post.)
I always liked the trees part of the design, but something didn’t feel right. So, in typical me fashion, I toyed around with it until I created today’s winter forest free printable.
What I like about this new design is that even though it has a hint of bling it still feels unassuming and quiet for everyday wall decor — or you could print it on card stock and gift it as a seasonal card.
