Hi, my name is Vanessa and I have a font problem.

Namely, as my font collection has grown to number thousands (haha, no joke), I’ve grown increasingly frustrated with the traditional method of scrolling through the list of options in my Adobe Creative Cloud apps.

Scrolling.

Scrolling.

I just wanted to be able to group my favorite fonts together by type so I could test them easier, you know? Hand-drawn scripts, sans serif, serif, etc.

Well, I figured out that I could create CC libraries for each of these types, and add my favorite fonts to each library. Then they’d be available for me in every program to test, toggle and in general dance a happy dance.

Photoshop? Check. Illustrator? Check. InDesign? Check.

It takes a little bit of time up front to set things up, but then you save hoooooours of scrolling. Hoooooours.

I created a short video so you could check out my Adobe CC font trick. It really is simple, and oh so satisfying.

That’s it! No more endless scrolling to find your favorite fonts! Hopefully now you know how to easily create a library in the Creative Cloud, add your fonts, and apply them to your text in any Adobe program, including Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
