10 Most Popular Posts of 2018

10 Most Popular Posts of 2018 • Little Gold Pixel

Top 10s don’t get any better than the self-reflection we do at the end of the year. Once upon a time, I used to rank music and send mix CDs to my friends. Now I’m opening up Google Analytics and checking my year-end stats for the most popular 2018 posts on this blog.

It’s always curious to see what ends up here, because “popular” is a fickle feat. Some are pleasant surprises (yay for feminist books!). Some are obvious because, well, I know you love free printables.

On a personal note, this was a strange year for the blog. I fell off my posting schedule quite spectacularly when I had a few pregnancy complications.

Looking ahead, though, I’m working on creating a more aggressive yet still sustainable schedule for 2019. There will definitely be more decor (read: Wall Around the World, take two) and more design (read: video tutorials) in the near future!

And there will definitely be more of these same kinds of posts you clicked on in 2018:

“However, all of that changes today, with two steps!

“Step 1: First, pick out your one word for the year. Step 2: Print out some inspiring printables to hang in your work space.”

Plus, awesome bonus time, I share two vintage botanical downloads that I rejuvenated just for you.

“Lately I’ve been painting very flat, simple portraits of women using a limited color palette. From there, I decided to take this sentiment and play around in Illustrator with a flat vector style of illustration.”
