If my 8-year-old has her say, we are going to be a royal family this year for Halloween.
She and her baby sister will be princesses, and H and I will be king and queen.
We have unwittingly started a tradition of letting her guide the costume ship.
A few years ago, we were the Powerpuff Girls (and Mojo Jojo). Last year, we were the Bat Family (Batman, Batwoman, Batgirl and Batbaby).
I must say, I like this arrangement. It takes the pressure off me to have to think of anything clever. I mean, the last time I was left to my own devices, I dressed up like a deviled egg, so I’m no costume genius or anything.
Anyway, we like having our Halloween traditions over here.
Like watching “The Worst Witch” and “Ghostbusters.” And breaking into the candy well before the trick-or-treaters arrive. And this Halloween free printables roundup, which is now on YEAR FIVE. Can you believe it?
