I’ve watched enough HGTV on this pseudo maternity leave to tell you a few solemn truths about my design style (hint: it’s midcentury).
First, it’s always worth the $20,000 to vault the ceilings.
Second, why all the hate for parquet flooring? I love it.
Third, give me all the terrazzo.
It’s been terrazzo craziness on this blog lately (see previous posts in which I gave away terrazzo wallpaper patterns for your phone and taught you how to make your own seamless terrazzo pattern), and all for good reason.
Daydreaming about the day when I get to design my own dream kitchen, I always thought I’d go marble or quartz for the countertops.
I’m now considering terrazzo. How cool would that be?
In the meantime, I’m settling for decorating with touches of terrazzo here and there.
