Our living room is finally almost perfect. I say this with a mixture of pride and humility because (a) thank goodness and (b) it only took three years and 5,000 tweaks to arrange it just so.
Now that we are finally happy with the configuration (which I’ll share soon in a post, I promise), I’m sure that means we will pick up and leave this place, and I’ll start the vicious cycle of decorating for a new space soon enough.
I’m slowly finishing off the last barren corner in our home. Usually I would be snapping up frames and trying to figure out what pieces of art or printables to hang there. This little snippet of space is close to the windows, however, so I thought I’d try something different and curate a corner of real, LIVE plants.
I know. I’m a little scared, too.
I’m sticking with succulents and air plants because I have a feeling I can keep them alive. Fingers crossed.
We went to a gorgeous nursery for air plants and other exotics yesterday, and while I picked up a few tillandsia + wood pieces, I was underwhelmed by the options for hanging random air plants on the wall.
Enter: Etsy. Care to go virtual shopping with me? There are so many beautiful choices, from ceramics to himmeli structures to even more wooden pieces.

8 Awesome Air Plant Hangers
The himmeli style might be my very favorite because the sconces are so pretty they look nice on their own. (Already have a backup plan in case I unwittingly kill my plants!)

I adore how minimal this hanger is. Also could hold something other than a plant (told you I’m thinking backup!).

Another himmeli, and a good example of how to incorporate air plants into your gallery walls. Love this.

This design makes me smile. The hangers are like baby swings for your plants!

There’s nothing like a well-sculpted piece of driftwood to add earthiness to your home.

This style is the most similar to the pieces we picked up in person yesterday. The vertical hang is very eye-catching.
