I know — you’re probably wondering what I’ve been doing with this 2018 calendar.
There are only a few days left till the ball drops into the new year, and I wouldn’t be surprised if you’ve already grabbed another freebie calendar somewhere else. I mean, I would if I were you.
But I also hope you forgive my lateness because I have been half-frozen from flu for the past two weeks, and I’m kinda-sorta coughing so violently I can feel my lungs shaking around in my ribcage (especially when I try to laugh).
Pardon me for another impromptu cough break, brought on by the oh-so-funny imagery of my lungs shaking. I do have a macabre sense of humor.
I hope to leave this illness in 2017.
Other things I hope we leave behind in the new year:
- Terrible, infantile politics.
- All -isms (racism, sexism, et al).
- People who believe memes they see on Facebook over reality. Ugh, these people are the worst.
What do you hope for in 2018?

This is the fourth year I’ve shared my minimal calendar with you, changing it up ever so slightly with the treatment of the “months.” In 2015, I used oversized typography. In 2016, the months were hand-drawn in heavy marker. For 2017 I drew the months in bounce lettering. This year I went au naturel with freeform penmanship using Kyle’s Letterers Old Fountain Wizard brush tool in Photoshop CC.
High-res PDF includes each month in 8.5×11 format. For personal use only. Share with friends. Tag @littlegoldpixel on Instagram so I can see how you’re using your calendar!
