I can’t seem to write a blog post lately without lamenting the early death of summer. Why should this post be any different? Haha.
Yes, I’m sharing these customizable First Day of School free printables in July. JULY, people.
Why? Because my daughter starts first grade Aug. 9.
I can’t wrap my mind around this early date. I cry for the youth, their summers so cruelly stolen from them. And I cry for myself because now I have to wake up before the sun. Let’s be real, I’m just not a morning person, especially if the hour is before 6 a.m.
But hey, at least you’ll have these evergreen printables to help you take that First Day of School photo on the porch in the dark!
I say evergreen because there’s no year on these bad boys, which means you can print them out in 2090 (assuming we still have paper and a planet at all) and I’ll be none the wiser because I’ll either be long gone or cryogenically frozen in a spaceship somewhere. And if someone wakes me up before 6 a.m. on a new planet, all bets are off!
