My children keep growing up. Funny how that happens, isn’t it?
In a few months, my youngest will be 1 and my oldest will be in third grade. Time, stop it now, will ya?
All this growing up means that we are going to have to switch up some room decor to fit changing tastes and personalities.
However, I’ve noticed that a lot of free kids printables skew babyish with pastels and soft fonts.
There’s nothing wrong with this, obviously, but for kids who are not little anymore but not yet in the tween-teen phase, there is precious little out there.
Needless to say, I made it my mission to scour the Internet for you.

Without further ado, here is your free printable roundup in gallery wall form.
Gallery Wall No. 1: Camping
Is your kid into the great outdoors?
Camping, hiking, collecting treasures on the trail — these are all second “nature” to your child!
They would love a wall like this:
• Insect illustrations (left & right)
Gallery Wall No. 2: Adventure
Does your child like to travel off the beaten path?
If your kid likes to climb mountains or pretend to be Bear Grylls, this would be the gallery wall for them.
Gallery Wall No. 3: Curiosities
So, even though most of the art I found is gender neutral, I couldn’t help but include this “Support Wildlife: Raise Boys” printable because the font is fantastic.
Does your kid like to look at the details of things and study how they are made?
With some scientific illustrations of lizards and patent images of Legos, this could make a great gallery wall for a curious child.
Gallery Wall No. 4: Space
Does your child like to look to the stars?
Aliens, spaceships, planets, the universe — if your kid is determined to be an astronaut or astronomer when they grow up, they would love this gallery wall.
• Destination Moon This poster is no longer available, but you can look for similarly free space-themed posters here
Gallery Wall No. 5: Travel
Is your kid into anything that goes “vroom”?
Cars, planes, trains — there’s no engine big enough or vehicle fast enough for your child.
They would love this gallery wall:
• Porsche Sebring Sorry, this link no longer works. Try searching through these vintage car ads for other ideas.
Gallery Wall No. 6: Rock Star
Is your child into music beyond measure?
Do they sing karaoke any chance they get, play guitars like naturals and dance like there’s no tomorrow?
Your mini rock star would totally love this wall:
• A Year from Now Sorry, this download is no longer working
Gallery Wall No. 7: B&W
Does your kid have a sense of whimsy and optimism that you want to encourage?
A wall like this will inspire them well into their teens and, with a neutral color palette, they (hopefully) won’t outgrow it anytime soon.
